Reporting The Crash of Continental Flight 3407

Here's when the news networks first reported the crash of Continental flight 3407 outside Buffalo late last night. The plane crashed into a home six miles from the Buffalo airport killing all 49 on board and one person in the home.

-CNN U.S. first reported the news at 12:03amET simulcasting CNN International. A few minutes later CNN began simulcasting Buffalo affiliate WGRZ.

-MSNBC broke in with the news at 12:11am.

-FNC interrupted a re-air of Hannity reporting the news at 12:26am.

ABC was the first broadcast network to report the news, as Nightline was still airing on the east coast. Martin Bashir reported the news at the the end of the show at 12:05am.
