Heather Childers Isn’t the First Anchor to Mix Up the NCAA and the NAACP

This morning the “Today” show played a clip of Fox News anchor Heather Childers who mistakenly called the UConn Huskies “the 2014 NAACP national champs.” Of course, they’re the NCAA champions. Childers corrected herself on air, and on Twitter wrote, “Just misspoke. Fuel 4 late night comics ;)

“I guess you guys don’t beleive in karma,” Savannah Guthrie said after the clip. “It’s happened to all of us,” Matt Lauer chimed in. WATCH:
