Howard Kurtz on Eliot Spitzer Omission: ‘Airbrushing History’
During an abbreviated “Reliable Sources” this morning due to the president’s remarks to the AIPAC conference, host Howard Kurtz took the time to criticize a decision by his own network — CNN.
As TVNewser first reported Tuesday, during a Suzanne Malveaux story on political sex scandals CNN’s own Eliot Spitzer was left out.
This morning Kurtz says leaving him out, is “airbrushing history.”
I’m sorry, if you’re going to do this kind of story you have to include Eliot Spitzer, even if he does now host a prime time CNN program. Otherwise you are airbrushing history.
