Joe Scarborough For President?

Vanity Fair writes about MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski. There is some old news (CBS was interested in bringing them on for “CBS This Morning,” but a number of factors prevented it) some sorta new news (the Fox News movie that was originally at HBO may still get the green light somewhere else), and a provocative photo, but the real bombshell is this:

After the presidential inauguration in January, Joe (no fan of Mitt Romney’s—”I’ve been very critical”) plans on publishing a memoir that will serve—no joke—as a vehicle to test the waters for a presidential run in 2016. Take that, Mr. Romney.

Update: Scarborough tells Politico that the photo shoot and interview took place in 2010, and that the information is way out of date. No clue why the mag decided to publish it now.
