Jon Stewart Rips CNN: “Why Would You Leave it There? There is a Terrible Place to Leave It”

Jon Stewart‘s favorite piñata — CNN — got whacked last night until the last piece of candy dropped.

Last night’s 11-minute excoriation on “The Daily Show,” which really began in 2004 when Stewart went on that long-ago show “Crossfire”, ranged from rants on the SNL fact check segment; tearing into John King for wrapping a segment early: “You’re out of time? Your show’s four fucking hours long!” Then calling out Tony Harris, Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer and other anchors for ending their segments with, “we’ll have to leave it there.”
