Katie Boyle Jumps from CBS News to NBC News; to be Senior Producer on Brian Williams Primetime Show

“CBS Evening News” senior producer Katie Boyle is changing channels. Boyle has joined NBC News and will be a senior producer on the new Brian Williams primetime show.

Boyle had been with CBS News since 1988, when she joined as an associate producer. She worked her way up and in 2006 then-EP Rome Hartman named her a Senior Producer on “Evening News.” Hartman is now the EP of the Williams hour on NBC. The as-yet unnamed show will debut in the Fall.

Boyle is the third senior producer to leave “Evening News” in the last couple of months joining Bill Piersol and Chris Dinan out the door. Dinan left “Evening News” for ABC “World News” last month.
