Keith Olbermann Out At MSNBC

Breaking: Tonight is Keith Olbermann‘s last night on MSNBC. The “Countdown” host and the network say that the two parties “have ended their contract.”

The network’s statement is below:

MSNBC and Keith Olbermann have ended their contract. The last broadcast of “Countdown with Keith Olbermann” will be this evening. MSNBC thanks Keith for his integral role in MSNBC’s success and we wish him well in his future endeavors.

MSNBC says that starting Monday, “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell” will move to 8 PM, with Ed Schultz moving to 10 PM. Rachel Maddow will remain at 9. In addition, Cenk Uyger will be filling in as the host of the 6 PM hour.
