CNN’s Tokyo-based correspondent Kyung Lah is moving to CNN’s Los Angeles bureau to join correspondents Miguel Marquez, Thelma Guiterrez and Casey Wian.

Lah has been with CNN’s Tokyo bureau since 2007 and was one of the first reporters on the scene after the earthquake and tsunami last year. Prior to her stint in Tokyo, Lah was a Washington-based reporter for CNN Newsource.

The move is a return to Los Angeles for Lah who was a reporter at KNBC from 2003-2005.
