Lara Spencer returns to ‘Good Morning America’
On the morning Meredith Vieira announced she is leaving NBC’s “Today,” former “The Insider” host Lara Spencer made a return to her ABC roots and “Good Morning America.”
After the “Welcome Back” video, which took Spencer from Wisteria Lane to Times Square and a few stops in between, Robin Roberts asked “What are you going to be doing?
“You know me. Whatever you want me to do, and then some. That’s the great thing about this show is a little bit of everything and mostly trying to not embarrass myself.”
The show’s anchors also Tweeted Lara’s return:
@RobinRoberts: Welcome back to the @GMA family @LaraSpencer… so glad you’re back home!
@GeorgeStephanopoulos: It’s already lunchtime!!!! My treat. Welcome back Lara!!!!! RT @LaraSpencer First day on @GMA. As the new kid…how do you take your coffee?
