Man Who Jumped ‘Today’ Barricade also Climbed Light Pole outside ‘GMA’

Remember back in February when a guy jumped the barricade at the “Today” show?

And do you remember earlier this week when a guy climbed a light pole (left) in Times Square after a performance by Alicia Keys on “Good Morning America?”

It’s the same guy.

He’s 34-year-old aspiring rapper Raymond Velasquez of Brooklyn. When he jumped the barricade at “Today” he shouted something like “God’s gift to music.”

Velasquez was arraigned Wednesday for the Times Square stunt on charges including reckless endangerment.
