His daytime show may not yet have a premiere date, but MSNBC’s Martin Bashir has finally made his debut on the network.

Bashir was a guest on “Andrea Mitchell Reports” during the 1 PM hour today, to talk about the engagement of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Bashir is the only journalist to have conducted an extensive, one-on-one interview with Princess Diana before her death. He spoke with Diana back in 1995 when he worked for the BBC.
