Matt Lauer to Katie Couric on ‘Today’: ‘Have you heard any good rumors lately?’
“CBS Evening News” anchor Katie Couric returned to her old stomping ground this morning on NBC’s “Today,” where she was interviewed by her former co-anchor Matt Lauer.
“There is a whole chapter in the book devoted to taking risks and seeking opportunities,” Lauer said during the interview. “Have you heard any good rumors lately?”
Couric told Lauer that she has genuinely not made up her mind about where she would be working, or what she would be doing.
“I am going to call you as soon as I know,” she said.
