Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan Give First Joint Interview To CBS, ’60 Minutes’
Presumptive GOP Presidential nominee Mitt Romney and his Vice Presidential running mate Paul Ryan will give their first joint interview to CBS News and “60 Minutes.” The interview will be conducted later today in North Carolina by “Face the Nation” moderator and chief Washington DC correspondent Bob Schieffer, and will air tonight on the CBS newsmagazine.
“60 Minutes” is by far the most watched TV news program on all of television, and is famous for its interviews with leading newsmakers.
While CBS will be first (and will likely draw the largest audience), look for Romney and Ryan to start appearing on a few other programs, including wonkier ones, as the week goes on.
Update: Here’s the interview.
