MSNBC Expanding ‘Lean Forward’ Campaign to Dayside Anchors

MSNBC is preparing to expand its “Lean Forward” branding campaign to its dayside anchors. The channel is beginning work on ads featuring its dayside news team, with “Daily Rundown” anchor Chuck Todd starring in the first of the new ads:

The new “Lean Forward” ads share a similar style to their primetime counterparts, although they are being produced in-house, rather than by Spike Lee, who worked on the ads for Rachel Maddow, Ed Schultz et al.

Andrea Mitchell will be the next dayside anchor getting her own ad, with other anchors such as Tamron Hall to follow suit in the coming weeks and months.
