Chris Matthews Wins!...an "Outrageously Biased" Award
Interestingly, one of the presenters (and voters) of the awards was Larry Kudlow, from Matthews' sister-network CNBC. Former FNC anchor and White House press secretary Tony Snow was honored with the only non-tongue-in-cheek award, winning the William F. Buckley Award for Media Excellence. Matthews, nominated twice (and up against the McClatchy News Service and his MSNBC-mate Keith Olbermann), was called "suddenly homo-erotic" for his Barack Obama praise in his selection.
