Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski and Willie Geist have spent this week marking the fifth anniversary of “Morning Joe,” a celebration that culminated this morning with New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg proclaiming September 21 “Morning Joe Day.”

“In the cable news world where partisan warfare is the norm, this show has broken the mold,” Bloomberg read from the proclamation. “Every morning, live from Rockefeller Center, viewers can expect to hear insights and arguments that elevate our national dialogue and influence national politics.” Watch:
