Obama Jokes with Ohio Voter: Turn off Fox News

Voters are just as aware of Pres. Obama’s distrust of Fox News Channel as those of us in the media-on-media world. Yesterday, during a stop at a bar in Amherst, OH, a patron, Jeff Hawks, said to the president, “You’re in a building that has Fox news on.”

According to New York Times White House correspondent Mark Landler, who was the pool reporter, the president “suggested that Hawks ask for it to be changed.”

“The customer is always right,” Obama said. “I’ll arm-wrestle you for your vote,” Hawks said to Obama. “No, I’ll play basketball for your vote,” the president replied.

Politicker reports as the president arrived at the pub another TV was playing a CNN “report on Mitt Romney’s large fundraising haul.”
