One Hazard of Live Hurricane Coverage: College Kids Mooning Your Reporter

Your TVNewser editor turned on the Weather Channel around 1:15 this afternoon, and after a few minutes of serious coverage of Hurricane Irene, a liveshot with reporter Eric Fisher from Virgina Beach, Virginia went hilariously awry.

“To be honest I am pretty much speechless, people like those you saw behind me–which I apologize for, I don’t want to show it,” Fisher said. “It is just setting a bad example, honestly this is just depressing to watch at the moment.”

What happened? You can see the aftermath to the right, and the full (edited to be SFW) shot after the jump.

You can see the uncensored photo here. Not that you will want to.
