Piers Morgan to interview Larry King this week

CNN’s Piers Morgan will interview his 9pm predecessor Larry King, this week. It’s part of Morgan’s Hollywood Week leading up to the Oscars Sunday night.

Says Morgan, “‘I can’t think of many people I’d rather interview than Larry King, and I’m sure people will be fascinated by the dynamic between us, for obvious reasons.”

After 25 years of hosting CNN’s 9pm show, King made way for Morgan late last year. Last week, King gave his own interview, in part, on Morgan, telling the BBC, “One of the problems [CNN] did was oversell it, he was going to be dangerous, he was going to be water-cooler talk, ‘wait till you see me!’ He is good, but he is not that dangerous.”
