Rebecca Jarvis Named Co-Host of ‘CBS This Morning: Saturday’
The Saturday edition of CBS’s morning show will take the name of the Monday-Friday editions: “CBS This Morning. And today, Rebecca Jarvis was named co-host of the show. Jarvis, who has been filling in on Saturdays for the last year, joined CBS in April 2010 as news anchor for “The Early Show on Saturday” as well as Business and Economics Correspondent. She’ll continue as the business reporter for the network and contribute to the weekday “CBS This Morning.”
The network will also bring in rotating co-hosts alongside Jarvis until a permanent replacement is named for Russ Mitchell, who left CBS News for a local news anchor job in Cleveland. Mitchell starts his new job at WKYC on Monday.
