Today I'm publishing my last post on TVNewser, 15,470 entries and 1,297 days after launching CableNewser.

It started as an anonymous project by a news consumer, but before long, the site was being read by the same people I was writing about. Shortly after The New York Times revealed my 18-year-old identity, mediabistro.com turned me into TVNewser -- providing generous support and enabling the blog to attract more than a million page views per month.

On Monday I move to The New York Times as a media reporter. I can always be reached at bstelter@gmail.com or 240-793-2483.

There's a new TVNewser in town -- someone who, I'm happy to say, has already beaten me on some stories! We'll save that announcement for next week. Until then, the tip box and tvnewser@mediabistro.com work.

Thanks to my mediabistro.com colleagues for never-ending support; to each network rep who has handled my numerous requests, and to every tipster, insider and observer who helped shape the blog.

In a very real way, TVNewser has been a priceless education in television and journalism -- TV 101 (and PR 101, for that matter). I still have a lot to learn.
