Is CBS’ “Face the Nation” closing in on a Sunday morning coup? The program was tops in both total viewers and adults 25-54 on Sunday, October 23.  So far this season, “Face the Nation” has topped NBC’s “Meet the Press” in total viewers for three of the first five weeks.

“Meet the Press” was a close second in both total and demo viewers, followed by ABC’s “This Week” and Fox’s “Fox News Sunday.”

All four programs were up compared to last week, with CBS, ABC and Fox also up compared to the same week last year. NBC was down slightly from that week.
