The Evening Ticker: Slideshow Slip, Fugelsang, ID Bill

  • Current TV is adding another show hosted by comedian John Fugelsang. Fugelsang is already launching a nightly program for Current later this year, but before that will launch a Friday night weekly wrap-up show, “John Fugelsang: So That Happened” On Oct. 5. The concept sounds an awful lot like E!’s “The Soup,” mixed with a dash of “Real Time with Bill Maher.”
  • Thanks in part to a film that aired on Investigation Discovery called “Sin By Silence,” California passed legislation that will provide assistance to victims of domestic violence that are incarcerated. The bills (in both houses of the state legislature) were dubbed the “Sin By Silence” bills.
