This Just In: MTV Seeks Vice President of Daily News

Calling all newshounds! MTV is on the hunt for a new vice president of daily news to not only create on-air and online video content, but to also supervise the managing editors of News & Movies and the directors of video, field and digital production.

As the new VP, you’ll be overseeing daily operations, including the reporting, writing, shooting, editing, digital production and broadcast of on-air and online video, articles, blogs and photos. You should be filled with ideas, adamant about getting the story and have a true passion for pop culture — Bieber, Bullock, Beyonce, et al.

Ten-plus years of newsroom experience and a degree in journalism of communications are requirements for the gig. You should also have a working knowledge of Web and TV production, including HTML, CMS, WordPress, iNews, etc. Interested? Apply here.
