White House Aide Who Called Bret Baier a ‘Lunatic’ Apologized ‘Profusely’

In documents revealed last week, related to the now two-year-old fight between the White House and Fox News Channel, an Obama Administration aide called Fox News anchor Bret Baier, “a lunatic.”

This morning on Brian Kilmeade‘s radio show, Baier seemd to acknowledge it’s water under the bridge, at this point.

I suppose someone was just… in the heat of the moment. I have since received an email from said aide, apologizing profusely. I said ‘Let’s go grab lunch.’ So we’re going to do that.

The documents, requested by Judicial Watch through the FOIA, revealed anti-Fox News bias during the weeks-long episode in October, 2009.

Johnny Dollar has the audio from this morning.
