Brian Williams: My First Big Break

MediabistroTV debuts a new series today, “My First Big Break” where we talk to media heavyweights about that break that got them to where they are today. Our first episode features Brian Williams, the anchor and managing editor of “NBC Nightly News.” You know what he’s doing now, and you may know a bit about his past. Design & a Deal, Downtown this Tuesday

The Tribeca Film Festival may be winding down this weekend, but the creative energy will continue downtown as some of the best design minds gather Tuesday night to talk about what’s new in design. Five cutting edge designers will share their secrets about creating compelling campaigns and connecting clients to customers through innovative advertising, branding, and interactive design. Excuse Us While We Interlope…

…but UnBeige’s brother blog TVNewser needs your design eye.

The site is in the process of a redesign and we have posted some mock-ups on our Flickr page. If you can spare a moment, check them out and give us your feedback. Here’s to building a better blog, with synergy, ‘cuz some of us TV folks don’t know diddly ’bout design.
