We are hiring for a Technical Writer in Torrance, CA ASAP!
Job Description
The Technical Writer is responsible for writing and editing automobile parts and service related publications, including service/parts information bulletins and accessory installation instructions. This role involves creating content for various requestors throughout the corporation, ensuring high-quality content that best serves the audience.
Responsibilities
- Produce various automobile parts and service related publications based on input from requestors throughout the corporation.
- Produce all service information with zero errors (100% quality).
- Manage creation and review/approval processes to complete assignments by assigned dates.
- Excellent technical writing and editing skills, including grammar, punctuation, and style.
- A meticulous approach to work with an eye for detail.
- Excellent schedule coordination and communication.
- Basic automotive technical knowledge is required.
- Auto repair experience is a plus.
- Ability to ask questions and interact well with others, including technical writers and SMEs.
- Ability to maintain high-quality work under pressure of deadlines.
- Experience in coordinating multiple projects at one time.
- Cross-department support as needed.
The work environment involves collaborating with diverse teams throughout the corporation, utilizing various technologies and equipment to produce high-quality content. The role requires maintaining high standards under deadline pressure and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.78 - $32.78/hr.
