Park West Gallery, the nation's largest privately owned art gallery, with 63,000 sq. ft. facility, headquartered in Southfield, Michigan is accepting applications for a new Social Media Specialist.

We are seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Specialist to manage and grow our social media presence. This role will collaborate closely with our external agency partner to support and execute a compelling social media strategy that aligns with our brand and business objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of social media trends, basic marketing principles, and a passion for storytelling through digital platforms.The primary focus of this role will be social media, but this role will also support the Marketing Director in other digital marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

·Collaborate with our agency partner to plan and execute a comprehensive social media strategy.

·Compile creative assets and provide detailed briefs to the agency based on campaign needs and business priorities.

·Work with internal teams for any content creation needs.

·Schedule and publish content across multiple platforms.

·Monitor channel performance and audience engagement, ensuring timely responses and community management.

·Analyze platform metrics and generate monthly and annual performance reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

·Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to improve reach, engagement, and ROI.

·Stay current on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging tools to inform strategy and execution.

·Maintain and enforce brand consistency across all social channels.

·Additional digital marketing support as needed, including but not limited to: email marketing, SEO, blogs, and recruiting efforts.

·Travel up to 1-2 times per month.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.

•Minimum 5 years of experience managing social media in an agency or corporate setting.

•Proficient with Sprout Social or similar social media management platforms.

•Strong understanding of social media KPIs and analytics tools.

•Demonstrated experience in content creation and campaign execution.

•Ability to translate data into insights and strategic recommendations.

•Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.

•Experience working with cross-functional teams and external agencies.

•Creative mindset with an eye for design and storytelling.

Preferred Skills:

•Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)

•Knowledge of paid social strategy and ad management

•Familiarity with influencer marketing or brand ambassador programs
