As a Studio Manager (SM), you will be responsible for providing leadership and daily direction to the sales and group personal training teams in our facilities. This critical position requires a solid understanding of sales and operational excellence. The SM must execute lead generation and marketing strategies to increase fitness program sales and promote the health and wellness benefits associated with a healthy lifestyle. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high-caliber approach to coaching and staff development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage and exceed all OTF sales and operational budgets.
  2. Lead and coordinate sales drivers such as pre-sale events, studio events, and outreach initiatives.
  3. Oversee the sales process and systems.
  4. Manage, monitor, coach, develop, and evaluate the performance of all OTF-related managers and staff.
  5. Ensure compliance with OTF Business Policies for daily studio operations.
  6. Monitor hiring, training, and scheduling of all studio staff.
  7. Oversee recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
  8. Optimize class sizes through effective scheduling.
  9. Develop a high-energy culture through contests and incentive-based motivation.
  10. Lead by example in all studio activities.
  11. Train and mentor staff for ongoing success and growth.
  12. Maintain OTF branding consistency in all actions.
  13. Empower, monitor, and evaluate sales and fitness team responsibilities.
  14. Handle disciplinary actions as needed.
  15. Achieve performance metrics (KPIs), revenue goals, inventory, payroll, cost controls, and facilities maintenance.
  16. Drive sales through outreach programs and promotional activities.

OPERATIONAL DUTIES

  1. Conduct 30-60-90 day and annual performance reviews.
  2. Enforce corporate policies, business practices, systems, and processes.
  3. Ensure proper functioning of front desk systems including member check-in, inquiries, guest registration, cash handling, and account procedures.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service and effective decision-making regarding customer concerns.
  5. Plan and promote monthly special events for community engagement.
  6. Maintain a clean, safe, and operational facility.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Proven sales leadership experience is REQUIRED.
  2. Excellent leadership and management skills to foster a positive environment.
  3. Minimum of 2-3 years sales experience and 2-3 years management experience, including staff oversight.
  4. Previous management experience in the health & fitness industry is strongly recommended.
  5. Strong work ethic, integrity, and professionalism.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Ability to multi-task and address client and staff concerns effectively.
  8. Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Word).
  9. Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 3+ years management experience preferred.
  10. Team-oriented with flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends.
  11. Passion for fitness and health is strongly preferred.

COMPENSATION

Salary plus commission. This is a full-time position.
