Volunteer needed at Boston Jewish Film! Job at Boston Jewish Film in Newton

Location: Theater locations throughout Greater Boston

Volunteering requires compassion, communication skills, commitment and patience.

• Greet people; volunteers are the first BJF representative people see at our programs.
• Communicate with people in line as to when we will be seating, making sure they have their tickets/passes readily available, answer any questions about length of film, special guests, etc.
• Provide general festival and film info
• Assist people with special needs
• Scan patron tickets for theater entry
• Handing out Flyers, brochures, if needed, etc.
• Help latecomers to their seats
• Take pictures of intros, people in crowd, and special guest q&as
• Set up/Clean up for screenings and events
• Other tasks as assigned.
