We are looking for a Community Marketing Liaison (Marketer) to secure patients that require our services by implementing existing marketing strategies, improving on those strategies, and helping to identify new strategies.

Position Functions:

• Establish rapport, credibility, and integrity with existing accounts and prospective clients.
• Develop relationships into steady referral sources.
• Gather and provide feedback from referral sources regarding Agency performance.
• Create and propose business development opportunities to increase community visibility.
• Manage leads from referral sources and serve as liaison between Agency and the community.
• Promote home health programs and services, ensuring standards of quality healthcare and resource maximization.
• Meet or exceed referral-to-admission goals.
• Conduct market rounds to identify new patients in need of Home Health services.
• Assess potential patients for appropriateness for Home Health Services.
• Communicate necessary information to ensure smooth patient admission and transition.
• Advise Agency leaders on community needs.
• Develop and maintain protocols for new programs.
• Ensure compliance with all laws related to marketing activities.
• Collaborate with staff to direct programs and delegate responsibilities.
• Establish a public relations program to promote services and foster relationships with physicians and community agencies.
• Ensure patient/resident safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Bilingual Spanish Preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited college/university preferred.
• Experience in home healthcare sales required.
• Established referral relationships with hospitals and physician groups.
• Thorough understanding of the home health market and referral sources.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed census goals.
• Experience with insurance companies, private case management, or HMO preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to build effective relationships at all organizational levels.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills and discretion concerning sensitive information, with adherence to HIPAA.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently within defined parameters.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.

Driving & Other Requirements

Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle meeting legal standards, and appropriate insurance coverage.
