We are looking for a Community Marketing Liaison (Marketer) to secure patients that require our services by implementing existing marketing strategies, improving on those strategies, and helping to identify new strategies.
Position Functions:
- Quickly establish rapport, credibility, and integrity with existing accounts and pending prospects.
- Develop existing relationships into steady referral sources.
- Provide feedback from referral sources regarding Agency performance.
- Create and propose business development opportunities that will benefit our company by increasing visibility in each community.
- Generate and manage leads from various referral sources while being a liaison between Agency and the community regarding community and customer needs.
- Development and promotion of home health programs and services while maintaining the standards of practice consistent with quality health care and maximizing human, financial, and equipment resources.
- Meet or exceed referral to admission goals.
- Conduct daily rounds in assigned markets to identify new patients in need of Home Health services.
- Perform assessment on potential patients to evaluate appropriateness for Home Health Services.
- Communicate all necessary information to the Agency In-take coordinator to ensure a smooth admission and transition to service.
- Provide counsel to Agency leaders regarding needs of the community.
- Collaboratively develop and maintain protocols specific to new programs.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of, and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws relating to marketing of the agency.
- Assist in direction of programs through collaboration with and delegation of responsibility to administrative and supervisory personnel.
- Establish a public relations program for interpretation of the agency’s services and to foster good working relations with physicians and community agencies.
- Responsible for assuring patient/resident safety.
- Carries out other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Bilingual Spanish Preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited college/university is preferred.
- Experience in home healthcare sales required.
- Established referral relationships with hospital and physician groups in the area.
- Thorough understanding of the home health market and referral sources.
- Proven history of achieving or exceeding established census goals.
- Working experience with an insurance company, private case management company, or HMO preferred.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use discretion concerning sensitive information and adhere to HIPAA.
- Ability to work on own initiative within clearly defined parameters.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.
DRIVING & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must have and maintain a valid state driver license, have a registered and reliable vehicle that meets state law standards, and meet the insurance standards of the company.
