Description
Job Overview: As a Lifestyle Manager, you’ll be responsible for providing direction and focus to all lifestyle components of the community designed to enrich the quality of life and enhance the vibrancy of the community for residents. These amenities include, but are not limited to, fitness, aquatics, travel, special events, classes, workshops, and charter club operations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the onsite lifestyle department.
- Provide staff support and guidance to the Community Manager, the Association Board of Directors, and other departments.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement community programs, classes, and events.
- Hire, supervise, motivate, and evaluate lifestyle staff.
- Develop and manage the Lifestyle budget in coordination with the Association Finance Committee.
- Act as liaison to related committees.
- Develop processes to ensure high-quality program delivery.
- Monitor trends in lifestyle programming to diversify offerings.
- Review room usage with resident committees to optimize space.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in business, hospitality, parks and recreation, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and graphics software.
- Experience in market research and competitive analysis.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Leadership and management experience.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information.
Physical Requirements & Working Environment:
- Sitting, standing, lifting up to 25 lbs., climbing stairs, driving, and extended periods of sitting or standing.
- Work may involve indoor and outdoor settings, including variable climates.
- Extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required.
- Must be alert to safety and environmental concerns.
What We Offer:
Full-time benefits, including health plans, dental, vision, paid holidays, and a 401k match. Occasional travel may be required.
Compensation:
$78,000 - $85,000 annually.
