We are looking for an Event Planner to join our retail client for a 6-month onsite engagement in Beaverton, OR. You’ll join a dynamic team at a leading innovative company, shaping impactful events that drive engagement and innovation. As an Event Planner, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating seamless experiences, from meticulous planning and budgeting to flawless on-site execution. Your organizational prowess and collaborative spirit will shine as you coordinate with diverse stakeholders, ensuring every detail aligns with the company’s vision.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive event marketing plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align objectives and strategies.
- Manage event budgets effectively, tracking expenses, providing recaps, and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
- Serve as the main point of contact for on-site event coordination, troubleshooting challenges and ensuring smooth execution.
- Oversee logistics, including product delivery, vendor coordination, and travel arrangements.
- Collaborate with internal support groups to project manage on-site execution, ensuring seamless integration of all event elements.
- Partner closely with the Executive Assistant of the Chief Technology Officer to coordinate global tech meetings/events.
- Collaborate with other Event Planners across the organization when planning events and booking spaces at headquarters.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant work experience, or acceptable alternatives such as a PhD or Law degree with 1 year, Master’s with 0-3 years, Associates with 1-3 years, or High School with 3-5 years.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing circumstances, and maintain composure in dynamic environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $28.52 to $31.69 an hour, based on factors including education, relevant experience, certifications, and location.
