Work Schedule: Course-by-course, semester basis, including day, evening, weekday, and weekend classes

Institution Overview

Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is a nonresidential, two-year institution serving Central Virginia, including Charlottesville and surrounding counties. PVCC is part of the Virginia Community College System and is recognized for transfer programs, partnerships with the University of Virginia, and workforce development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Teach developmental and/or college-level courses in Photography and Videography
• Possibly teach distance-learning courses
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Bachelor of Fine Arts in a related field
• Two years of teaching or professional experience in Photography or Videography
• Experience with online teaching is preferred
• Master’s of Fine Arts in Photography or Videography is preferred
