Summary

Become part of the world standard in electronics remanufacturing by performing diagnostics and repairs on the latest electronic technologies. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing electronic modules using tools such as multimeters, schematics, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other test equipment. CET certification is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Soldering SMT (Surface Mount Technology) chip components may be required.
• Document findings and report to manufacturers.
• Ensure data integrity by performing clerical duties related to repairs.
• Participate actively in the core functions of the position, including suggesting improvements.
• Perform software updates.
• Diagnose and repair units following United Radio procedures.
• Promote core values.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and quality systems.
• Perform related duties as requested.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED. A two-year degree or training in electronic technology or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Basic understanding of mathematical concepts.

• Prioritize duties effectively.

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The estimated hourly rate for this position based in Syracuse, NY, ranges from $19.00 to $21.00. Actual salary will depend on experience, skills, location, and organizational needs.
