We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced UX/UI Designer to create intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered interfaces for touchscreen and desktop applications. You will lead and support the full spectrum of UX activities—from discovery and concept design to user testing and high-fidelity prototyping. As a key member of the product development team, you will work collaboratively across disciplines to ensure our products are not only functional but also delightful and accessible to use.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover and translate user insights into interface design opportunities for touchscreen and desktop applications
- Plan, conduct, and analyze user testing; produce reports with actionable recommendations
- Develop interface concepts aligned with Client UX Design principles and Design Systems
- Lead or contribute to collaborative brainstorming sessions and design workshops
- Create wireframes, storyboards, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes for concept communication and usability testing
- Present UX/UI designs to stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gain alignment and feedback
- Build user-centered solutions that balance technical feasibility, business goals, and visual appeal
- Contribute to evolving UX/UI design processes, including research methodologies, validation techniques, and storytelling
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately
- Occasionally travel (up to 20%) to support research, design reviews, or product launches
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interface Design, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Research, or related field
- 5–10 years of professional experience in UX/UI design with a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in digital product design, user research, and usability testing
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or equivalent design and prototyping tools
- Deep understanding of user interface design principles, visual hierarchy, typography, and accessibility standards
- Experience working within and contributing to a comprehensive Design System
- Strong collaboration skills with an understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with technical or engineering environments, ideally in scientific or industrial product domains
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end research and usability testing methodologies
- Proven ability to challenge constraints and advocate for user experience in cross-functional teams
- Not required; UX certifications (e.g., Nielsen Norman Group, HFI) are a plus but not mandatory
