Role Overview

Part of the Marketing & Communications Department, this role reports to the Head of Trade Marketing & Events. The main responsibilities include managing visual merchandising and display functions for US and Canada boutiques, shop-in-shops, and multi-brand distributors. This involves partnering with HQ for seasonal visual changes, product launches, and communicating visual initiatives to sales teams. The role also entails project managing vendors for animations and installations, collaborating with the Store Planning Manager on new store openings, managing display functions, and overseeing repair, maintenance, and upgrade requests across all POS.

Responsibilities

Visual Merchandising

  • Lead the execution of the animation wave twice annually for 100+ points of sale, aligning local priorities with global guidelines.
  • Maintain presence in stores to ensure visual guideline compliance, follow-up, and quarterly reporting to HQ with photos.
  • Assess visual needs in wholesale, collaborating with regional sales managers to enhance brand visibility.
  • Train retail and boutique teams on visual merchandising standards.

Store Planning

  • Coordinate with the Regional Sales Team for new account proposals and communicate design changes with global teams.
  • Order, track, and monitor installation of POS assets across locations.
  • Track progress of millwork and store openings, communicate project status regularly.
  • Support with ordering, planogram creation, account visits, repairs, budgeting, and sourcing suppliers.

Repair & Maintenance

  • Report and oversee resolution of maintenance issues in boutiques and shop-in-shops.
  • Track all repair and upgrade issues, ensuring timely communication.

Administrative Support

  • Create PO's, process invoices, manage vendor contracts, and sourcing forms.
  • Monitor budgets, seek cost savings, and manage project splits with retailers.

Marketing Activations

  • Prepare POS materials for events, support regional events, and assist during large-scale activations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5 years' experience in visual merchandising or store planning, preferably in luxury or jewelry sectors, with global exposure preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, flexible outside regular hours.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving ability, resilience under pressure.
  • Effective time management, team-oriented attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop; SAP experience is a plus.

Richemont offers comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, wellness programs, and community engagement opportunities. Salary range: $100,000 - $110,000, based on experience.
