We are seeking a visionary Chief of Creative to lead our design initiatives in a remote, global organization. You will shape our creative strategy, lead user experience projects, and collaborate with engineers, educators, and content creators to craft compelling digital experiences.
What You’ll Do
Creative Leadership
- Define and implement the overall creative and UX vision aligned with organizational goals and user needs.
- Provide strategic direction for all design initiatives to ensure a cohesive user experience.
- Promote a user-centric design philosophy across the organization.
Project Ownership & UX Design
- Lead UX projects from concept to completion, including ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and testing.
- Translate complex problems into accessible, engaging experiences.
- Oversee development of user flows, wireframes, and mockups.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Mentor and guide a team of designers, fostering growth and collaboration.
- Encourage a culture of feedback, learning, and experimentation.
Research & Validation
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
- Iterate designs based on feedback and metrics.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with engineers, educators, and product managers to deliver seamless experiences.
- Ensure design feasibility and alignment with technical and educational goals.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years in UX/UI or product design, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
- Experience leading remote design teams.
- Expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, and usability testing.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX and product design.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Passion for education, technology, or mission-driven work is a plus.
