Mechanical BIM Designer, Fort Worth, TX
We are hiring a
Mechanical BIM Designer
with experience in HVAC/Plumbing to support commercial construction projects in Fort Worth, TX. This role focuses on the design and coordination of mechanical ductwork and plumbing systems using BIM tools, requiring a solid understanding of mechanical principles and Plumbing Code.
Key Responsibilities:
Document and provide marked-up submittals to Project Manager showing any modifications, or discrepancies related to inline duct and piping devices. Ability to read and understand contract drawings, specs, and submittals. Develop clear, dimensional HVAC and plumbing coordination drawings. Attend project meetings and visit job sites, as necessary. Collaborate with internal teams and external trades to ensure smooth coordination. Ensure all work aligns with project standards and schedules. Qualifications:
Field experience as a sheet metal mechanic, foreman, or licensed plumber Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings, specs, and submittals Proficient in Revit, NavisWorks & AutoCAD What We Offer:
