As Bilingual Community Manager, you will be at the heart of our housing programs across East LA, Inglewood, and Westchester. You'll coordinate site operations, foster a supportive community, and ensure the well-being of the residents. You will also work closely with Case Managers and other team members to deliver life-changing services rooted in trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

  • Create a safe, thriving environment where residents feel supported and valued.

  • Build positive relationships with residents and implement dynamic community-building events, workshops, and activities.

  • Collaborate with case managers to support residents in achieving goals in education, employment, and mental health.

  • Supervise team members, ensuring alignment with program objectives.

  • Respond to emergencies with urgency and care, including after-hours rotation support as needed.

  • Maintain accurate records of site operations and interactions to uphold program standards.

  • Develop partnerships with external organizations to expand resources and opportunities for residents.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish, is required.

  • A minimum of 3 years in recent leadership role.

  • A minimum of 5 years previous experience in housing or community management roles, strong leadership and crisis management skills, and familiarity with trauma-informed care and harm reduction models.

  • Masters degree is required in Social Work or related fields, LCSW preferred. Bachelors in Social work or in related field, required.

  • knowledge of the TAY resource landscape in Los Angeles, and experience working with high-acuity youth.

  • Support in Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI)

  • Must be able to pass Livescan, Tuberculosis skin test

  • Must have a valid California Driver's License and an insured and reliable vehicle.

  • Mileage reimbursement for travel between sites.

Onsite, Whitter, CA 90604.
Monday to Friday 9am -5pm

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $82,000.00 per year
