Job Description
As Bilingual Community Manager, you will be at the heart of our housing programs across East LA, Inglewood, and Westchester. You'll coordinate site operations, foster a supportive community, and ensure the well-being of the residents. You will also work closely with Case Managers and other team members to deliver life-changing services rooted in trauma-informed care.
Responsibilities
Create a safe, thriving environment where residents feel supported and valued.
Build positive relationships with residents and implement dynamic community-building events, workshops, and activities.
Collaborate with case managers to support residents in achieving goals in education, employment, and mental health.
Supervise team members, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
Respond to emergencies with urgency and care, including after-hours rotation support as needed.
Maintain accurate records of site operations and interactions to uphold program standards.
Develop partnerships with external organizations to expand resources and opportunities for residents.
Qualifications
Bilingual in Spanish, is required.
A minimum of 3 years in recent leadership role.
A minimum of 5 years previous experience in housing or community management roles, strong leadership and crisis management skills, and familiarity with trauma-informed care and harm reduction models.
Masters degree is required in Social Work or related fields, LCSW preferred. Bachelors in Social work or in related field, required.
knowledge of the TAY resource landscape in Los Angeles, and experience working with high-acuity youth.
Support in Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI)
Must be able to pass Livescan, Tuberculosis skin test
Must have a valid California Driver's License and an insured and reliable vehicle.
Mileage reimbursement for travel between sites.

Monday to Friday 9am -5pm
