Senior UX Designer
Why We Have This Role
We are seeking a Senior UX Designer in Reston, VA to join our passionate team. Our leaders and customers expect us to push the boundaries of enterprise products, envisioning across all platforms to impact the product roadmap and customer goals. This role will focus on our Customer Experience product line.
How You’ll Find Success
- Envision a UX design future 1-2 years ahead, evolving by listening to customers and ideating innovative solutions.
- Identify and address UX issues and opportunities, ensuring they are resolved.
- Lead collaboration with software development, product management, and marketing to create seamless, intuitive user experiences across desktop and mobile.
- Create prototypes and wireframes to communicate design concepts, iterating based on stakeholder feedback and usability testing.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, seeking professional development opportunities to contribute innovative ideas.
How You’ll Grow
- Develop standards for sharing and documenting core design patterns for global engineering teams.
- Engage with customers to understand how Qualtrics can better integrate into their workflows.
- Show technical acumen and grasp technical concepts early, contributing to product development.
Things You’ll Do
- Create wireframes and prototypes to communicate and test design ideas.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams on a product roadmap that pushes market boundaries.
- Participate in UX critiques, share work, and iterate based on feedback.
- Translate usability data into UI improvements and prioritize them in sprint planning.
- Incorporate current interaction design standards and trends to create intuitive enterprise products.
What We’re Looking For On Your Resume
- 6+ years in information architecture, UX, or interaction design.
- Bachelor’s in design, HCI, or related fields; Master’s preferred.
- Portfolio showcasing shipped products and your process.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional influence.
- Knowledge of accessibility principles and experience in accessible design.
- Proficiency in Figma; familiarity with Coda and Jira is a plus.
