Hourly Rate: $15

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing Peace by Piece events, workshops, and activities.
- Participate in workshops and help participants create knitted projects.
- Create punchcard designs for knitting workshops.
- Help create and distribute educational materials, social media content, and newsletters.
- Support data collection, reporting, and documentation of project outcomes.
- Maintain communication with student groups, campus departments, and community partners.
- Attend regular planning meetings and provide input on programming and outreach.
- Represent the Peace by Piece Project at campus and community events.
- Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive environment aligned with the project’s values.
Work Conditions:
- Can lift up to 50 lbs.
- Operate flatbed knitting machines and industrial sewing machines.
Required Qualifications:
- Applicants must possess a Federal Work-Study Award to be considered.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Experience in knitting, sewing, handcrafts, especially machine knitting.
- Comfortable working independently and in teams.
- Experience with social media, graphic design, or event planning is a plus.
Required Education: Must be enrolled as a student at Belmont University.
