Senior Interior Designer- Senior Housing
for our
Seattle
team. The successful candidate is a fun, creative individual who exudes flexibility when collaborating with other designers. You must be proactive and take ownership of each project as well as daily work. You should have strong design skills and experience working in the Senior Housing market. Experience managing client relationships and strong presentation skills are required. The ideal candidate has previous experience managing a team of designers and working directly with Architects on new construction projects. Qualifications/Experience Required: Experienced Interior Designer with 5+ years of diverse client and project experience, with a strong background in senior housing design. Well-versed in architectural interior design, code requirements, and FF&E. Experience working closely with architectural teams to shape spaces and enhance resident experiences. Involved in all project phases, from conceptual ideas to design, construction documentation, FF&E selection, and installation. Ability to provide interior design solutions across all project scopes including space planning, design, drawings, and material selections. Proven ability to manage multiple project types and sizes. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with Revit as the primary tool. Desire and ability to mentor junior staff. Project management experience is highly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited university. NCIDQ and LEED accreditation are a plus but not required.
