Position will cover Queens and Nassau regions.

Our groundbreaking hospice and palliative care programs make a significant difference when dealing with life-limiting conditions. We offer a broad range of community and facility-based services to help patients and families manage end-of-life issues with dignity and comfort.

  • In this position, you will utilize creative arts therapy interventions specific to music therapy to assess and treat physical, psychosocial, and spiritual issues related to end-of-life care for patients, caregivers, and bereaved persons of all ages, in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care.
  • You will participate in the clinical training and supervision of creative arts therapy interns and support special programming, research, education, and marketing efforts to promote the organization's mission and growth.

  • NY State-licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT)
  • ATR-BC certification
  • Minimum of one year experience as a creative arts therapist in hospice, palliative care, or acute medical settings (internship hours may be considered).
  • Availability in late afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
