Volunteer Photographer and/or Videographer (age 17+) Referral

As a Volunteer Photographer and/or Videographer, you’ll document the energy, culture, and heart of our community—capturing key moments from events, programs, and celebrations. Your visual storytelling will uplift our mission, celebrate our community, and support outreach, advocacy, and fundraising efforts.
Through your lens, you'll highlight the resilience and joy of immigrant and Latine communities across Multnomah County. This is an excellent opportunity for creatives passionate about using their skills for social impact.
Volunteer Tasks:
• Capture high-quality photos and/or videos during El Programa Hispano events and programs
• Tell visual stories that reflect the diversity, culture, and impact of our community
• Follow consent and privacy guidelines when engaging with participants
• Collaborate with staff to deliver content for use in social media, newsletters, reports, and promotional materials
• Edit and organize visual assets for internal and public use
• Uphold the values of cultural sensitivity and respect in all content created
Qualifications:
• Experience with photography and/or videography (professional or hobbyist welcome)
• Familiarity with camera equipment or mobile capture tools
• Comfort engaging with diverse communities in a respectful and thoughtful manner
• Ability to follow visual consent protocols and represent subjects with dignity
• Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus
• Ability to work independently and communicate with staff
• Responsive to email and willing to coordinate event coverage in advance
Volunteers needed weekdays or weekends, depending on the events schedule. Flexible shifts based on availability.

Opportunity Requirements:

Volunteers must be 17 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity; any volunteer under age 18 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
