WHAT YOU WILL DO: As an AV Technician , you will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and support of audio-visual (AV) systems in corporate environments. You will be responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining AV equipment, including conference room systems, digital signage, and video conferencing solutions. You will work closely with internal teams and end users to ensure seamless AV functionality and a high-quality user experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Install, configure, and support AV systems, including displays, projectors, audio systems, and video conferencing hardware. Provide hands-on troubleshooting and repair of AV equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Assist in setting up AV for meetings, events, and conferences, ensuring all equipment functions properly. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and firmware updates on AV equipment. Run, terminate, and manage cabling (HDMI, fiber, CAT6, speaker cables, etc.). Work with platforms such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Cisco Webex to support video conferencing solutions. Provide end-user training and support to ensure effective use of AV technology. Track and manage AV assets, ensuring proper documentation and organization. Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and other teams to integrate AV solutions into corporate environments. Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and emerging AV technologies. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: 2+ years of experience in AV installation, troubleshooting, or support. Familiarity with AV hardware from brands such as Crestron, Extron, Cisco, Shure, and Biamp. Strong understanding of video conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom, Webex, etc.). Ability to run and terminate low-voltage cabling, including fiber optics and copper. Understanding of signal flow and AV system design. Strong troubleshooting skills with AV-related software, hardware, and network connectivity. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to support end users, including executives. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces as needed. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. DESIRED CRITERIA: AVIXA CTS or CTS-I certification preferred. Experience with Dante audio networking. OSHA 10/30 or relevant safety certifications. Experience working in enterprise or corporate environments.
