Job Summary
The Event Services Technician assists with floor operations, including setup, strike, and operation of technology solutions in a hotel or hospitality setting, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service to guests and clients.
Essential Functions
- Ensure all event setups and strikes are completed according to Company SOPs.
- Greet guests/clients before events and provide clear instructions on equipment operation.
- Maintain communication with clients to ensure event success.
- Follow through on all client requests and look for opportunities to enhance their experience.
- Maintain accurate client event information within the company's systems.
- Review daily invoices with clients and obtain signatures.
- Comply with all security and safety measures, and monitor inventory and equipment to prevent theft or damage.
- Ensure all inventory is operational and in good condition; report any issues immediately.
- Keep all areas clean, organized, and up to company standards.
- Continuously improve technical skills related to audio, video, data, staging, and networking.
- Adhere to all company policies and perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience or exposure to audio-visual or hospitality industries.
- Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and networking.
