Job Summary

We are seeking a Manager – Venue Security to oversee the security department, ensuring the safety of guests, employees, artists, and the venue. Responsibilities include monitoring premises, managing security staff, and ensuring compliance with policies and laws.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with management to ensure security policies and legal compliance.
• Control access points and monitor the venue for security breaches.
• Conduct patrols and take corrective actions as needed.
• Investigate security incidents and resolve complaints.
• Supervise security staff, including hiring, training, and discipline.
• Participate in sustainability initiatives, such as recycling and waste management.
• Assist in closing the venue post-event, including equipment and recyclables management.
• Communicate with staff through meetings and reports.
• Review and improve security operations regularly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• State licensing requirements (e.g., Guard Card) as applicable.
• Knowledge of security procedures and safety practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Physical ability to walk, climb stairs, and lift 50 lbs.
