Role Overview

Token Metrics is seeking a UX Researcher passionate about blockchain and crypto, who can deeply understand and improve the user experience for a diverse audience of crypto traders and investors. You’ll blend traditional UX research methods with blockchain data analytics to build intuitive products.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) to understand diverse crypto user needs.
• Analyze user interactions on platform and on-chain activities to find pain points and enhancement areas.
• Use blockchain analytics tools (e.g., Dune Analytics, Etherscan) to complement user data with on-chain behavior insights.
• Collaborate with designers to translate research findings into UX improvements for dashboards, prediction tools, and analytics.
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to guide product teams.
• Stay updated on Web3 UX trends and advocate for best practices in crypto interfaces.
• Present research insights to stakeholders, aligning user needs with Token Metrics’ goals.
• Iterate product features based on user feedback, focusing on portfolio tracking, market signals, and AI-driven tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in UX research or related fields, with a portfolio showing user-centered outcomes.
• Crypto-native: Hands-on experience with dApps, wallets (MetaMask, Trust Wallet), DeFi, or trading tools.
• On-chain experience with trading, staking, yield farming, governance, plus familiarity with blockchain analytics tools.
• Strong grasp of UX research methodologies and ability to apply them in crypto environments.
• Excellent communication skills to explain user insights and technical concepts clearly across teams.
